Remember the whole “NEW!! LEGOS FOR GIRLS!!” fiasco?
It bothered me for a lot of reasons, but mostly because LEGO has always been for girls, as evidenced by this vintage LEGO play set you see here in my hand.

That’s why it bugged me too! LEGO has always been so good at marketing it’s product as being for girls AND boys. Marketing one as “for girls” automatically markets the other as “for boys” and that’s CRAP.
